Soule Family Carvers, 1763-1776 includes: Ebenezer Sr. (1710/11-1792), Barre, MA; Coomer (1747-1777), Barre, MA; Beza Sr. (1750-1835), Barre, MA; Ebenezer Jr. (1737-1817) and/or Asaph (1739-1823), Plympton, MA. This stone is probably backdated, perhaps the work of Ebenezer Sr. and/or Ivory Soule. There are stones in this style by several different carvers. Compare to the work of the Lockes, Ebenezer Janes, Jonathan Allen, and Solomon Ashley.
