Memo:

This is a particularly puzzling stone. Compare it to the signed James Clark marker (1786, Medway, MA; "Maxcy's Sculpt.") and to the work of Cyrus Dean and the lettering of Joseph Barber/Barbur. Does the stone represent the work of more than one carver?
