This looks, at first glance, like the typical Geyer face with wings, but there were several carvers producing very similar cherub faces in the late 1700s (Lamson, Hastings, Homer? and an unidentified Cape Cod carver). The lettering on this stone is similar to that produced by John Homer and his son.
